privileged to be led by Pastor Kenneth B. Hall, Sr.
Reverend Kenneth B. Hall Sr. was born to James and Mildred Hall on September 1, 1959 in Galveston, Texas. His family moved to Waco, Texas at an early age. He received his childhood education in Waco. He is a 1978 graduate of Richfield High School and received his calling into the gospel ministry in May of 1978.
Pastor Hall preached his first sermon and licensed to preach the gospel on June 25, 1978. After preaching his first sermon, Pastor Hall went on to further this education at Bishop College where he majored in religion and minored in Christian education. Pastor Hall was ordained in the gospel ministry on January 1, 1980 and graduated from Bishop College in 1982.
Upon graduation, he was called to pastor the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Gatesville, Texas and the Hopewell Baptist Church in Whitehall, Texas. He led these two congregations for nearly eight years. During this time, he received a degree in Theology from Guadalupe College Theology Seminary.
In 1989, Pastor Hall was then called to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where he pastored for 16 years. In April of 2005, God lead Pastor Hall the Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Athens, Texas. Pastor Hall has 3 brothers and 1 sister. He and Andrea, his wife of 22 years, have 2 children, Kindrea and Kenneth II. They have 1 grandchild, J'Mya.
